Scott Weiland (born October 27, 1967) is an American musician who plays mostly for Stone Temple Pilots. He released a solo album in 1998 called Twelve Bar Blues. He has had many problems with drug addiction which has left the future of Stone Temple Pilots in doubt many times. He was most recently arrested on October 27, 2003, in Hollywood, California, after a traffic collision and being charged with driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

He was born in Santa Cruz, California.

He is now the vocalist for the band Velvet Revolver.
