Sade Adu (born 16 January 1959), born Helen Folasade Adu is the frontwoman of the popular English group Sade. She was born in Ibadan, Nigeria of a Nigerian father and English mother, then moved to England.
Sade was awarded a Grammy for the album 'Lovers Rock' in the "Best pop vocal album; for solo artists, duos or groups" category on 27 February 2002.
