Moody worked on the track "Nobody's Home" also "Take me Away" on Avril Lavigne's sophomore record, Under My Skin, and wrote and recorded the track "The End Has Come" for The Punisher film soundtrack. He also collaborated with David Hodges, and Kelly Clarkson on Clarkson's most recent album, Breakaway. Moody and Hodges helped co-write Clarkson's single Because of You and Addicted. He has also collaborated with Lindsay Lohan on her recent album A Little More Personal (Raw), as well as produced a song on Bo Bice's debut CD. Moody is currently working on a feature film with his startup movie company Makeshift Films. He also made a brief cameo as a zombie, as well as worked on the soundtrack to, the film Resident Evil: Apocalypse. In addition, he has recently finished recording his solo debut, Can't Regret What You Don't Remember and set to be released early 2006.
Most recently he has collaborated with singer Anastacia on the song "Everything Burns", which was featured on the soundtrack of the film Fantastic Four in 2005.
Ben Moody has many extended family members that reside in Wimberley, TX and other places around the US. He also has a brother who could be considered a piano virtuoso and a cousin named Brian K. Moody and an uncle named Keith Moody who both reside in Wimberley, TX. Brian moody is part if an up-and-coming band called Beastiality who are based out of Wimberley, but will be touring with the band The Poet and Animality around Austin, San Antonio, as well as Gerogetown. The guitarist for Beastiality is named Greg Gibson, and he also resides in Wimberley.
