Toby Keith
Toby Keith is a country music singer. Born Toby Keith Covel in Clinton, Oklahoma, he recorded his first album in 1993. He became a household name with his track "Courtesy of the Red White and Blue (the Angry American)", a response to the September 11, 2001 attacks released on his 2002 album Unleashed. He won the award "Entertainer of the Year' in the 2003 Academy of Country Music Awards defeating the
Dixie Chicks. In the 2004 awards, he won the "Album of the Year" for Shock 'n Y'All, best male vocalist, best entertainer and best album for the song "A Beer For My Horses" featuring
Willie Nelson.
