The movie that was made about you and Ike inspired me alot in many ways. I know some of it was not true, but it gave me the courage to leave abusive marriage. Someday I would like to meet you in person to thank you for letting me know that there is a better life without being abused. I still watch the movie from time to time and it still gives the courage to keep on going.
Keep on doing what you are doing because I still love your music.
