EMF
EMF were a British rock and pop band which came to prominence at the end of the 1980s and achieved moderate success. The band came from the Forest of Dean area of Gloucestershire, a region not normally noted for its mainstream musical talent. Their first single,
Unbelievable was a number 1 hit, and their debut album, Shubert Dip went to number 1 in the UK album charts, but follow-up success proved elusive. The band faded after being eclipsed by the growing Britpop scene that followed.
