RCA recording artist
Sara Evans never had any doubts as to what she was meant to do. Singing every weekend in her family's band at age 5 and recording by age 11, Sara has music in her blood and in her heart. After Country Hall of Fame songwriter Harlan Howard saw her potential and had her record a new version of his classic "I've Got A Tiger By The Tail," he urged RCA to take a listen. Two years later in 1997, Sara released her debut on the RCA label, Three Chords And The Truth. A year later she released
No Place That Far, which went Gold, and its title track earned Sara her first number one record. Sara's 2000 release, Born To Fly, hit #1 and was followed by three consecutive hits from the album with "I Could Not Ask For More," "Saints and Angels," and "I Keep Looking." She has toured with
Alan Jackson,
George Strait and
Kenny Chesney, and appeared in the Girls Night Out Tour with
Reba McEntire. Sara's 2003 release,
Restless, debuted at #3 on the Billboard Country Album Chart, her highest debut thus far, and generated the hit single "Perfect."
