Cyndi Thomson
24-year-old Georgia native
Cyndi Thomson is an old soul with a very new sound. Her debut album,
My World, was released in July of 2001 and caught the attention of everyone in the country music industry. Cyndi started singing at church and wherever else she could until her graduation from high school. When she moved to Atlanta for college and started performing around the city, she realized that she still needed to do more to make her dream come true. Transferring to Belmont University, Cyndi took on Nashville and started collaborating with hit songwriter
Tommy Lee James. Not too long after, she ended up landing a publishing deal and recording contract at Capitol Records Nashville. Her debut single, "
What I Really Meant to Say" was #1 paving the way for two more hit singles.
