The supremes were way ahead of my time (I'm 33), however as a child I was always drawn to them. I read Mary Wilsons books about them as a teenager & thought "Well why didn't Ms.Flo just sing out & step out during a live show or why didn't Ms. Mary stand up for Ms.Flo & herself rather than just being quiet".Years later I read the book again & just figured that it would be an even bigger issue if either of them would've done anything. I also read book by a man that claims to be her friend (Anthony "Tony" Turner)at the age of 23, that book was on fire, honey it was funny & sad at the same time. Reading his book just made me want to learn more about her. I've read the book 3 times & talked about it so at the time to where I had 5 friends borrow the books needless to say the last person to borrow the book let someone else borrow it & the story of "Lady Flo" continues to be read. I think that the family members & friends should present Lady Flo's story to VH1 so that an overall enterview can be done about her which could possibly turn into a movie offer from VH1 or another director ---this is a great time to do it with the fact that Jaimie Fox just won an Oscar for Ray Charles---I want her story to be on screen so bad---I really feel the MS. Flo & Ms. Mary were jipped.

she was my cousin. ower great-great
grandfather was with the first group of black men to fight in the Civil War. 1863-1867

My mother and her father were first cousins, as were hank Ballard and the Midnightners

She was also the best singer of the group according to the black audiance

Berry Gordy was utilmately accountable and responsible for her death. Recently, a documentary was aired on the history channel
whereby suspicious behavior of berry gordy regarding the death of florence ballard is questioned.
