I first met Marion when I was admitted to St Joseph Hosp. in Orange, CA to be treated for alcoholism. This was on Dec. 27, 1979.
She was my counserlor during my stay in the hospital. Later while studying Alcoholism Counseling at UCI Idid a Practicum at the same Hospital. I worked with Marion at that time.
She was a great counselor, terrific person and teacher. She had a lot to do with my staying sober these past 25 years. During breaks she would tell stories of her past with Glenn Miller, Lou Costello and other well know people she associated with in her life.
She left this Hospital in Orange to open a Womans treatment center in Oregon.
Was sad when I heard she passed away. She had some terrific stories of her past and I feel privlidged to have known her for such a short time and I thank her for my sobriety now...............JB
