What if Julie Andrews dubbed Deborah Kerr in The King and I?

We all know that Marni Nixon sang for Deborah Kerr in "The King and I" - but what if Julie Andrews had done the singing instead? This is an idea I stole from XxHengxX, since I thought it was amazing how well her tempo and phrasing matched Marni's. I was able to sync it up with just a little editing.

This is a popular group from Britain performing their hit from the 1970's. This is the karaoke video version. The funny thing was that I was only a few years old when my older siblings played this song. Also as I didn't even know English at the time. At first I really though it was a young boy singing because shortly prior to hearing this song, I already mistook Donny Osmond's song "Go ...

Anne Marie David is a French woman who as a teenager won the Eurovision singing contest in 1973. She usually sings in French and this is her English version of "tu te reconaitras". Oh my god, at first I thought it was a young boy when I first listened to it in the 1970's especially after I had initially mistaken Donny Osmond's "Go Away Little Girl" to be a girl singing. I was so young a ...

This is already made by Terrance Tucker. But here is my copy of the same song from the LP "Songs from 'Mary Poppins'" (DQ-1256). I prefer the Julie Andrews movie version better than the Marni Nixon one, I will put the original Julie Andrews version later on. By the way, Terrance's copy is on the "rainbow" label, but mine is on the original label.

Audio of "Shall I Tell You What I Think of You?" a number filmed but deleted from "The King and I," with stills shot during the filming. Amazing how gutsy they were to jump back and forth from Kerr's speaking to Nixon's singing, and even more amazing that it works, largely due to Nixon's impressive work.
