Anthony Kiedis (November 1, 1962, Grand Rapids, Michigan) is the lead singer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He and their bass player, Michael Balzary (also known as Flea), founded the California-based rock/funk group in 1983.

He is 5'10" tall and has brown eyes and hair.

Anthony's parents John (aka Blackie Dammet, who is the administrator of the Red Hot Chili Peppers homepage) and Magaret (aka Peggy) divorced in 1968. Anthony lived with his mother in Michigan until he was 11, then in California with his father. Anthony has a half-sister, Julie.
