Love Junkies
Love Junkies are an alternative rock band featuring frontman Jason Frost and friends. Originally known as Blue Moon & Company, one of the less commercially successful bands of the 1990s, following the explosion of the grunge music genre (which was eventually a more commercially successful offshoot of hardcore punk, thrash metal and alternative rock in the late 1980s and early 1990s). Bands from the cities in the U.S. Pacific Northwest, such as Seattle, Olympia, Washington, and Portland, Oregon, made the grunge music genre popular with mainstream audiences. Singer/songwriter Jason Frost is a musician who got his start in Olympia, Washington and was a driving force behind the underground alternative rock scene of the early 1990s. His music is not as common or popular as fellow Olympians such as
Nirvana,
Marcy Playground (lead singer John Wozniak and Jason Frost shared dorm space in college), and others from Seattle. Once the lead singer and guitarist for the band Blue Moon & Company. One time occupant of Band Alley with grunge bands listed above, now known as Jason Frost & the Love Junkies.
