Pussy Galore
Pussy Galore was an avant-rockin' noisy version of all things backwoodsy, raw and ballsy -- in rock, with an extra-dose of the kind of screech generally heard from outsider musicians like Hasil Adkins. They formed in Washington, DC in 1985. Nearly all the musicians in the band are famous for their subsequent work -- including Jon Spencer, Julia Cafritz, Neil Hagerty, and Bob Bert.
