Hawk Nelson is a Christian pop-punk band hailing from Ontario, Canada. The band is signed to Tooth & Nail Records. Hawk Nelson first began out of close collaboration with Trevor McNevan of Thousand Foot Krutch. This close association allowed them to quickly leap to a record deal with Tooth & Nail Records, the label which Thousand Foot Krutch is on. Many of the lyrics written on Letters to the President had Trevor involved in the songwriting process.
