Ocean Colour Scene (OCS) are a British rock band that rose to prominence as part of the Britpop movement in the mid 1990s.

Their traditional line-up has consisted of:

  • Steve Cradock; (b. 22nd August 1969); electric guitar and backing vocals
  • Simon Fowler, (b. 25th May 1965); vocals and acoustic guitar
  • Oscar Harrison (b. 15th April 1965); drums and backing vocals.
  • Damon Minchella (b. 1st June 1969); bass guitar
Minchella left the band in 2003, and a permanent replacement has yet to be found.

They are influenced by The Small Faces and The Who, causing music critics to criticise them for "dad rock".
