Christopher Wilson and Shirley Rumsey are always solid performers; together with the ensemble Kithara they've produced a collection of lesser-known works from the Italian and Spanish Renaissance that will appeal to a variety of musical tastes. Check out "A quand' a quand' haveva una vicina" and "Folias" to get a sense of the variety. Sounds strange, but this is music I love to play while I'm cooking. March 29, 2002

This album has some very nice pieces on it. Kithara sounds very solid on the vocals and instrumentals. I recommend this release to any renaissance music fan. December 6, 1999
