What can I say about Donnie Ozmond that hasn't been said already. He walks like a crane, I bet that hasn't been said before. Ozzmund is just a lights out performer with hit after delicious hit. I just can't keep from smiling and dancing whenever some Donnee is thrown on the clubs I go to. My favorite song is "Soldier of Love". This song got me thinking, if I were a soldier of love, what rank would I be? Of course I'm just joking, I wouldn't have to think about that question. I would be the general incharge of the whole army. I have an allure that women just can't get enough of. I used to wear Drakkar cologne, but after awhile it became too easy. I would give myself challenges to see if there was any way I could come home without a date. I would do things like smear mustard on butt and dump tomato sauce on my head and it didn't stop the ladies from wanting me. In fact, it probably just encouraged the behavior because it drew even more attention to me than normal. So yes, I would be the general, J abs would be lieutenant, Kroll and Burns would be captains. Granted, we couldn't train the other soldiers to be anything like us, but we would know that going in. If we got the other guys trained to hook up like every six months, we would have done a good deed. We are to other guys like a plane is to the ground. Imagine the ground as average and the plane 32,000 ft in the air. We are the plane.

This collection is significant for this major reason: it showed that Donny tried and tried and never gave up. "Soldier Of Love" brought Donny Osmond back to the Billboard charts for the first time in 14 years! In 1989, everyone liked this song but had no idea who the "mystery artist" was! A female DJ knew who he was but refused to reveal the name of the artist with the fear of people changing the radio stations! At the time, when people thought of the name "Donny Osmond", they would think of "pop poison", at least according to Donny on "Vh-1 Behind The Music"! He also revealed his lost years was between 1979-1989!
Obviously, this collection only highlights his 1989-1991 comeback so you are only getting the partial portrait of Donny. Highly recommended!
December 2, 2004This is a pitiful attempt to again bilk the consumer. His last 3 Billboard singles are here, but the rest is filler. If you truly want "The Best", then buy "25 Hits Special Collection". It contains 15 of his 16 Billboard hits, the only exception being "My Love Is A Fire" which isn't that great anyway.
April 11, 2004This is a great CD, with a lot of fun songs on it! The title says it all! The Best of Donny Osmond. He is the best!
August 2, 2001Donny just lights my fire. I can just imagine him in those tight black jeans. His voice is so creamy. Teel and stahl rate this at the top of their 'intimate' favorites. I often heard donny's tantalizing tunes through teel's locked door. It's a perfect cd for halfas like teel and foley and anyone who isn't afraid to let their feminine side take over. buy it.
