This CD is food for the heart...and the head.
I am neither a traditional Christian nor belong to an organized religion
but am a music lover, student, and instructor who has been pulled up by this CD.
Rodney Frazier (producer),
Arthur Dyer (music director)
and Kirk are the real news...12 years after the fact.
To say that this material has stood the test of a decade would be gross understatement. The arrangements are outstanding, harmonies phat and tight.
Fun as the newer hip hop material is (through which I discovered the earlier work), Kirk is so solidly a proponent of the original idiom... as well as an extension of it.
Wow.The first and last cuts on the CD are the ones that I play over and over.
I haven't used them up yet. May 6, 2006

This is the must have Kirk Franklin CD to add to your gospel collection. Even though it came out over 10 years ago, this is still my favorite CD of his. As much as I am a Kirk Franklin fan, this is the one that I can listen to straight through without using the skip button. If you don't have it, get it. If you already have it, listen and enjoy it again. April 12, 2005
