Cool take on Grease!
If you like cover albums, then this is a must have! It's a cool take on the musical Grease. The songs are all punked up and personally, I think better than the originals! It's fun, most of all, I guess that's the way to describe it. February 1, 2006
Less Than Jake, "Greased."
This was an awesome cd. I loved listening to Roger, Chris and others rock out to my favorite Grease songs. This cd may be short, but it's worth every second. It'll make you laugh and smile. I recomend this CD to any Less Than Jake fan. April 28, 2005
Not unoriginal
Although I am a recent LTJ fan (only known about them for 2 years), I must say I like their older style a lot better than the new. Yes, this album was hastily thrown together, but then again, it was done just for fun. From the way it sounds, they had a crapload of fun doing these eight songs. Had it been an actual original effort, yes, they would've produced this more professionally.
Lots of bands do covers of one, maybe 2 songs from a group, but how many times do you see eight songs from a movie? it's almost like they wanted their own version of the soundtrack.
Overall, this album got its point through to me, and that is that they just wanted to have some some and let their fans know that they do enjoy themselves. November 14, 2004
big disapointment
With so many Ska bands so famous for their covers, I had the best hopes for this CD but it falls short. It sounds like a hastily thrown together garage band version of these songs rather than often hilarious versions we've come to love from bands like Reel Big Fish.
Save your money on this, less than EP sized, "album". October 15, 2003
