Ill Na Na is a hip hop album alongside Lil Kim's Hardcore. Both of these women paved the way for female hip hop and made it come to the forefront. No more trying to look like the boys like da Brat and Missy did..

No female rapper has yet to achieve the status that Foxy and Kim did in their prime, and Foxy was a lot more famous then Kim at one point September 13, 2008

Wow it's hard to believe that this album came out 10 years ago already, I was just going through my CD collection yesterday and I was playing this and it still sounds just as live as it did when I first heard it back then, my favorite tracks on here are "Gotta Get You Home", "Ill Na Na", "Foxy's Bells", "I'll Be", and "If I", I really hope that she could get past all of her troubles off the mic and put out another album 'cause she's one of the best female rappers ever, much love Foxy keep ya head up baby October 27, 2006

Profound.

Not.

Foxy is rakin' in money from suckers. Her pimp is a CPA.

OK the dumbos who like to look at her booty and boobies can now press the "not helpful" button, and the smart people can, at least, consider what I've written. Not too many smart people here. August 29, 2006

true this album is full of samples but it's a groovy party album that gets you in the mood and the music on this CD reminds me of my junior high days in 1996/97 when I hear this, it definitely takes you back. October 25, 2005

Foxy Brown can straight flow! Everyone knows that. She ripped Case's Touch Me Tease me wide apart and for me, stole the show from LL Cool J on Who Shot Ya.
Her debut album is very good. Foxy Browns flow is different in a strange way that I can't put my finger on and that is why she stands out. Her beats match her feiry rhymes perfectly.
However my only complaint I would say is she didn't write all of her material-not even half.
However she was 16 when she recorded this so maybe she just wasn't secure in her rhymes yet (Too bad cuz she can spit).
But when Fox is on she is unstoppable. Get me Home, Promise,Ill be, and Ill NA na are all clear standouts.
If I is a very astonishing song about Fox getting personal about love lost. This song in itself shows Fox as a rap powerhouse that she has always had the potential to be.
I still feel that even with all her acclaim, Foxy is missing something. Only Fox can hold herself back. It will be nice to hear her new album coming out soon.
My favs: Ill Be, If I, Promise, Get me home
Get this album and Broken Silence. Chyna Doll wasn't good in my opinion! But her debut and third are fire! September 1, 2005
