Norah Ephron and her colleagues did a first class job with the original soundtrack of "Sleepless in Seattle" and have kept up the same high standard with the current release of "More Songs for Sleepless Nights"
An excellent selection for easy listening. February 17, 2008

I absolutely love the "Sleepless in Seattle" soundtrack and listen to it over and over again. When I found this collection I was so excited I couldn't wait to get the album. What an extreme let down it was to hear mediocore music by notable artists. I wish I had saved both my time and my money on this one and passed it on by... November 1, 2006

For the life of me, I can't figure out why collections like these always seem to have a "lemon" in the soup. There are, of course, lots of surprises in this collection, and it's definitely worth keeping if you love this kind of music. But the inclusion of Bryan Ferry to sing "These Foolish Things" was next to criminal. He really doesn't understand the composer's intent, and the style he uses to sing the tune is not supposed to be "pop" by contemporary standards. It's an "old classic" with a supposedly "old classic style." Who knows, maybe they wanted to give this guy a break into this collection. It didn't work for me, though.

Then there are the very nice surprises - Jimmy Durante, Carly Simon, Sinead O'Connor, who, by the way, sings an incredibly sultry version of "I Want to be Loved By You." Maybe she missed her calling and should've recorded other tunes of this genre. Jimmy Buffett did "Stars Fell on Alabama" justice, and it was a refreshing change from his popular style.

A nice display of talent. Just skip over Bryan Ferry!!! July 29, 2003

So many great songs that bring a smile to my face are on this album. These songs aren't new rock jams or anything; just a excellent collection of old, classic heartwarmers some of which are sung by modern favorites such as Sinead O'Connnor. Everyone should have a collection like this! June 10, 2000
