Find the spirit of the season here! If you don't, somthing is wrong.
This is a sole stirring collection. It gives so much meaning to the reason for the season!

The Christmas Season 'begins' in our home when this CD is first played...and it never leaves the machine during the Season. Other CD's are put in, enjoyed, and removed, but Mahalia stays!! My family received an LP of this recording in 1953..!!.. and it has been the cornerstone of our Christmas Musical Selections since then! It is always the music played first on Christmas morning and during our warm, family gift opening time! I was SO delighted when I located this CD reproducing the exact songs etc. from that first LP. I have gifted it to family and friends at least 24 times...everyone has thanked me so much...so, treat yourself to it as well!!
February 13, 2008Mahalia's voice is beautiful and the whole CD has expertly showcased her unique vocal style. I absolutely love this CD and will readily recommend it to all her fans.
January 15, 2008I got the cd for my mom and she loved it, it has most of the holiday classics on it. It's great to listen to while trying to relax during the crazy holiday rush. Reminder of what the holidays should be about.
January 21, 2007I love Mahalia jackson,she was an awesome gospel singer with an unique and distictive voice that made her stand out from the rest.Her Christmas songs are truly classics like;Joy to the World,Go tell It on the Mountain,Sweet Little Jesus Boy,Hark The Herald Angels Sing and many others.If you are a true Mahalia Jackson fan you must and I mean must get this tape!Case closed.
