These recordings were made between 1915-1954; as the other reviewer said, sound is vintage (about half of the tracks are from 1915) but not bad at all, with nice atmosphere, good acoustics and rich sound of the instruments; the "El Cant dels Ocells" from 1950 is particularly beautiful (I wasn't familiar with it until today) but all tracks are well worth listening. Great CD. January 6, 2007
