Excellent CD

This is an EXCELLENT CD for new parents. I have listened to it over and over. The first time I heard some of the songs I cried. It is a lovely testament to the feelings between parents and children, especially first time parents. September 26, 2007

I have a new Niece and I have been a professional singer for almost all my life. Now I am learning songs to sing to my little one. This is a sweet CD very well put together. Art Garfunkel has always had a sweet and gentle sound quality. It is quiet and comforting. Perfect for little ones. I enjoy most of the selections chosen. January 20, 2007

One of his best cds in his carreer just awesome

This is a awesome cd as awesome ass fate for breakfast, Scissiors cut , watermark with james Taylor as good old friends live on stage with Paul simon he just keeps getting better & better as time goes on. A must buy cd along with others mentioned or any solo cd of his I say a must buy cds all of his & ones with Paul simon as well dont wait buy them all worth the money for all of them. Songs from Art to James Garfunkel

And from the look and title of this cd, a parent can give this cd to a child, and on the inside, you will see a message from Art Garfunkel to his son James Garfunkel, who was 7 years old at the time of the release of this cd, and he does a deut with his wife on Who's Gonna Shoe Your Pretty Little Feet? And he also does a deut with his son, mostly you can hear James on Good Luck Charm. The booklet gives you the songs, and the names of the people that played during the recording of each song, he has Steve Gadd, whom also played drums, during Simon & Garfunkel's reunion concert in Central Park in 1981, Russ Kunkel, Bill Maxwell, Chris Parker all on drums, looks at the booklet for all the names that are on each of the songs, they also the lyrics for the songs in as weel. These are children's sogns that you will hear on this cd, and all are recored with Art Garfunkel's voice, even the 2 songs that I pointed out that he does a deut with his wife and his son on, you can kind of tell that Art is signing along, but it is James that does the singing on the tune, whether you can understand what he is singing or not, please don't think he got some strange kid to come into the recording studio with him. This should just be the type of music that you and your children, or even spouse to be able to enjoy listing to, and I would say reccomedn it to all the Art Garunkel fans out there, or parents to want to introuce music, and songs to thier kids too, I don't know if I could have idmange Paul Simon, who sang with Art Garunkel during the 50's and 60's, to 1970 before they broke up, during this cd, but you never know.
