Shirley Ceasar has always been one of my favorite gospel singers even way back in the day. she has always been able to bless my soul.
June 13, 2008This Cd minister to your heart, mind and soul in more ways than one of what you need it to do. I hate that I waited this long to purchase it but it still a wonderful Cd. My favorites are next in line for a miracle is a favorite. I don't think that you will regret purchasing this cd because better late than never. God had to place the song in my spirit in a dream before I purchase the cd it relaxing and very peaceful in so many ways.

WHEN BILLS,KIDS,SPOUSE,SICKNESS,JOB SEEM TO GET IN YOUR WAY JUST PUT ON MIRACLE IN HARLEM PICK ANY ONE OF THE SONGS AND YOU WILL FEEL BLESSED BY ONE OF THEM. NEXT IN LINE IS MY FAVORITE AND STRONG MAN THEY ARE SPECIAL TO ME AND I AM SURE TO SO MANY OTHER PEOPLE THIS WOMAN OF GOD YOU WILL NEVER WALK AWAY WITHOUT CARRYING THE SPIRIT OF GOD HOME WITH YOU WHEN YOU SEE HER IN CONCERT OR WHEN YOU LISTEN TO HER YOU FEEL SOMETHING. THIS SPIRITUAL WOMAN OF GOD I HAVE SEEN SO MANY TIMES AND A OPPORTUNITY A FEW TIMES TO GET A HUG FROM HER YOU FEEL THE ANOINTING WHEN YOU TOUCH HER YOU CANNOT HELP BUT LOVE HER I THANK GOD FOR LETTING ME BE ABLE TO COME TO KNOW HER IN MY LIFETIME. MY SISTER PASSED AWAY MANY YEARS AGO, IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME TO GET OVER HER DEATH SHE TOO WAS A GOSPEL SINGER. WHEN I STARTED SEEING MORE OF SHIRLEY I FELT THE EMPTY FEELING WAS NOT THERE AND LESS DEPRESSED. WHEN YOU SEE SHIRLEY CAESAR YOU WALK AWAY WITH A BLESSING SO WHEN I GO TO SEE SHIRLEY MY SISTER IS RIGHT IN MY HEART AND I HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME AT ANY CONCERT WITH PASTOR SHIRLEY. THE NIGHT OF MIRACLE IN HARLEM I PRAISED THE LORD LIKE I NEVER DID BEFORE BECAUSE THAT WAS MY NIGHT TO BE BLESSED. YOU SEE GOD DOES KEEP HIS PROMISES, MOVED STRONG MAN OUT OF THE WAY, THAT'S WHY I CAN SAY HOW I LOVE JESUS. I SAY TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE LET GO AND LET GOD AND TAKE NOTHING FOR YOUR JOURNEY. I WAS SO SATISFIED THAT NIGHT. PASTOR SHIRLEY IS TRULY A WOMAN OF GOD AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE HER. TO GOD BE THE GLORY.

...and that's really saying something, considering that all of them have been quite solid! This one is a special standout, however. Shirley always has a special knack for reaching back to the past while NOT getting stuck in it, like some other artists who have been singing for 30+ years.
Case in point: her remake of her own "Don't Drive Your Mama Away" shows that it's still relevant in today's society to treat your mother right, while more contemporary songs like "God Keeps His Promises" and "Who'll Be A Witness" bring the clear message of the gospel home in a very modern -- but still churchy, thank goodness -- way.
Shirley always makes certain that she has a good band and choir/singers for her live recordings, and this album is no exception. The recording values are exceptional, the highs and lows clear, and you can understand EVERYTHING that the choir and Shirley say the first time around. Unfortunate that's pretty rare nowadays!
I can't say that I'm a hardcore Shirley Caesar fan, but I'm a fan nonetheless. Even if I weren't, I believe in giving credit where credit is due: this album is stellar (and I think it won a Stellar award). It's not only Shirley's best and most consistent recording of the 90's, it's one of the best gospel albums of the 90's PERIOD. Enjoy! January 26, 2002
Pastor Shirley Caesar is a woman with an annointing. Your Next in Line speaks to me every time I hear the CD. I just get so excited that i can't contain myself at all. She is the #1 pator of all along with Bishop. I feel that she sings about what she preaches. She is the best thing that has happend to me in my life.
Pastor continue to do God's will and all things will fall in place.
