Bringing back memories

I had this cassette when I was a teenager and recenlty I couldn't get one of the songs from the CD out of my head so I had to order it. Liked the cassette in the 80s, love the CD 20+ years later. May 31, 2008

Where did this kind of rock go?

There's not much else I can add to what others have already said about this album. It's one of the most perfect, flawless rock albums any musician could create. This and "Waking Up The Neighbours" can stand up against any top album in history. Please note that, up until a few years ago at least, and maybe still, this album had the record for the most #1 hits on any album.

Since everyone has heard the big songs on the album, I'll just mention a couple of highlights that they may not have heard.
"She's Only Happy When She's Dancin'" is a great, upbeat song with an amusing and all-too-relevant story to tell. I'm sure there is at least one woman in your life that this song will remind you of. The lead guitar playing on here is great, too, and there is lots of it. It's a great song, lyrically, just because of the funny story it tells.

"Long Gone" is a really cool, bluesy sounding song with a catchy riff and awesome lyrics. I still smile every time I hear the bridge of the song "She took the fridgidair, she got my favorite chair, you could say she got the best of me..." etc. haha. Great stuff.

"It's Only Love" is just a phenomenal song with crazy, high energy, lead guitar breaks through the whole thing. Keith's work on this song is second to none, in my opinion. It's these kind of solos that are completely absent in Adams' recent work, which is unfortunate.

As I said, if you like guitar-oriented songs, and like Bryan's voice, this is a no-brainer. I've had this album since 1991 or so, and I still love it. May 20, 2008

The Bryan Adams CD that you have to have!

This is the album that made everyone in the 80's fall in love with Bryan Adams. This was the album to have. It rocks! Ah, back when MTV was good and music videos were popular. Bryan Adams always rocked MTV. It was awesome. When you go to a Bryan Adams concert you will here these songs so you need this CD to be prepared! Reckless is a must have for anyones collection. Nobody compares to Bryan Adams, you have to hear that sexy voice for yourself. And if you are lucky enough to get to go to one of his concerts you won't be disappointed! He definetly rocks the place! A first class pop rock album

This album stand the test of time, it contains no less than six hits.
One of the best from Bryan Adams, if not the best.
A must have for any 80's music lovers. December 25, 2007

One of the best rock cds of all time

While Adams is an after thought these days, he still put out great music in the 80's. I really enjoy this cd and everyone song on it was basically a hit for Adams. If you like rock music then there is no reason why you'd hate this cd. September 8, 2007
