| | A great addition to your chillout library | |
As a fan of Enigma, Deep Forrest and Buddha Bar it provides another great variation of ambient sounds with good production. Hard to get hold of, it was worth pursuing. Great album.
March 13, 2007 | | ANYTHING BY B-TRIBE IS OUT OF THIS WORLD
They get better with each CD but they are still all out of this world. There are no words to describe what this music does--chills and thrills.
July 13, 2005 | | Excellent and sensual Gipsy music!
B-Tribe is capable of generate a new sensual sound with the old timer Gipsy music. A must have for your collection!

March 7, 2003 | | A good blend of new age, traditional latin, and techno music
I am new to the music of Barcelona Tribe of Soulsters but being a huge fan of new age, world, and techno music, I thought I would acquaint myself with their music when I found "Fiesta Fatal!" in the used cd bins at my favorite record store. I definitely liked what I heard on "Fiesta Fatal!". It is a good introduction for a new listener like myself. I really enjoyed the blend of traditional latin music fused together with ambient beats. In fact there were moments on this cd when I could have sworn I was listening to Enigma like on the title track. Those haunting female vocals is another reason why I thought I was listening to Enigma at different times on the album. I definitely thought I was listening to Enigma on "Nadie Entiende". As good as this album is, I think the biggest weakness is due to that Enigma comparison. Not that I didn't like what I heard on but I think that B-Tribe ought to develop a sound of their own. I love the idea of fusing traditional or classical music with techno beats but there has to be a line drawn somewhere that an artist has to also develop a sound of his or her own and not to rely so much on certain musical influences. B-Tribe is a perfect example of what I am saying. Come up with some better techno beats 'cause the ones that I heard on this album sure isn't original, and if using a female vocalist, well the same can be said about her too. Other than that, I really enjoyed this album, especially "Lo Siento". I really loved the flamenco work on this song. I definitely plan on buying more albums from B-Tribe in the near future for all the flaws that I have listed here.
