Aside from 2 powerful songs, unfortunately dated sounding

Only 2 songs hold up on this otherwise very dated album, which suffers from too many electronic instruments for the most part. But "Rooms On Fire" remains an energetic mid-tempo love song. The greatest song is the haunting, melodic yet strangely sinister would be title song, "Alice". Even with the electronic drums and percussion, Nicks powerful vocals and imaginative lyrics create a unique masterpiece. These 2 songs are why I've kept the CD these many years. May 25, 2008

Nice memories

I'm a Stevie Nicks fan. I like her voice and her lyrics are, for the most part, simple and related to life experiences. This album brought back so many good memories of the 80s for me. May 21, 2008

Stevie Nicks at her best!

Soulful, fun and energetic, "The Other Side of the Mirror" is Stevie Nicks at her best. Each song, from "Long way to go" to "Juliet" reveals the sultry side of the sexy siren, whose enchanted lyrics and melodies of love's more intimate and sometimes darker side, captivates the imagination. "Mirror" has great power and can touch the heart of the listener familiar with the singer's genre, if only one will listen and dare to step through to "The Other Side of the Mirror". Best Stevie Album Ever!

This is by far my favorite Stevie Nicks album. The songs Rooms on Fire, Cry Wolf and Juliet are phenomenal and can be listened to repeatedly. June 20, 2007
