This guy Is Not good but pretty great songwriter and musician.
The hits show many different fusions and styles yet somehow plays as an album too. March 29, 2008

It was this compilation that orginally got me hooked on Chris Rea. Sadly and typically I had only heard "Road to hell" and "Fool (if you think it's over)" before. This compilation opened up my eyes and ears to the world of Chris Rea. I would highly recommend you purchase this album to begin exploring the world of all things Rea. Yes the songs are remixed/redone from the original versions, but I love these too!
I'll put it this way. 6 months ago I had nothing from Chris Rea. Now I have 14 cd's. This compilation just scratches the surface, but it such an engrossing musical retrospective.

I say I have to agree with S. B. Rotherforth "smithville boy" on this as driving music in its purest form! When I first had the cassette single much earlier days THIS SONG was my TGIF song. Later I lost the tape and by pure coincidence I have stumbled on the complete Greatest Hits which I must say if you like pure rock music you will LOVE Chris Rea! Needless to say now I am a little older but it still has that certain appeal to it, that is why I purchased it today 12/12/2005. December 13, 2005

when this first was released, I'd heard 'working on it' on the radio. I couldn't get the driving music out of my head. why I waited so long to purchase the music, only makes having it that much sweeter.good stuff. October 24, 2005
