The sound quality of the CD is terrible. It sounds like a homemade cassette tape. The music is plain enough, but it plays much softer than any other CD and sounds like it's coming from cheap speakers. October 1, 2008

The music brought me back to when I was young , in the 1960s. What a great selection from their concert in Central Park! I wanted this disc because I saw "The 69th Street Bridge" song sung by Art Garfunkel on U-Tube. All the magic of this duo is here on this CD. Their voices are still "clear and young", not like the albums they put out later in their career. If you want a trip down memory lane, get this CD. July 12, 2008

This is my second favorite S&G album, next to their Greatest Hits. Simon and Garfunkel re-united for this back in 1981. This has S&G songs along with Paul Simon classics, some I would argue sound better live than they do in the originals. I remembered hearing this and listening to it before dinner on Saturday nights, thinking about how much fun it is to listen to a concert on a summer Saturday night. This is worth every penny and is a must for Simon and Garfunkel and Paul Simon fans. January 11, 2008

I watched this concert on T.V. I knew what I saw and the CD didn't disappoint. Anyone who even likes these guys a little will want this CD. It's live it's New York you can hear the crowd and it's almost like you are there. They weren't as polished as their studio albums but that's the draw for me it's like going to see them in person. A little slip here a little start over there and it takes me back to the times I went and heard these singers and others like them.I bought this because someone borrowed mine and not surprisingly never gave it back. I have been a Simon and Garfunkel fan for years now, and this is the compilation I like least. Don't get me wrong, there are some wonderfully jazzy moments, a few fun times, but the evening was...drugged. There was some dysfunction in the air, that made the audience clap to the already dismal tempo of "The Sound of Silence", ruining it completely. I think that moment really defined the two's loss, how they went from the beautiful persona of ethereal/acoustic folk duo to a pathetically bouncy pop label, with songs that were fun, but not at all inspiring, and almost embarrassing when thought about too long. ("This song is MEANINGLESS!") It was a sad night, made bearable by the bluesy pleasures of "Late in the Evening" and "Still Crazy After All These Years."

Buy the 1967 concert; the recording is not great, but the songs, the moment, "Anji", "Richard Cory", "Sparrow"... THAT was a sweet concert by the old S&G. December 26, 2007
