| | An Incredible Album - Must Have for all Cetera Fans! | |
The songs on this album reflect Peter Cetera's amazing vocal range. From the high-energy rock pieces "Big Mistake" and "Wake Up to Love" to amazingly beautiful ballads such as "Glory of Love" and "Only Love Knows Why," this album has something for every Cetera fan. To me, this album is worth its weight in gold, and of all his albums since then, it remains my absolute favorite. So... if you just can't get enough of Peter's fabulous voice, pick up a copy of Solitude/Solitaire. You WON'T be sorry!
October 27, 2008I had been unable to find this album as an MP3 download so I was glad to be able to purchase it through Amazon. I had the original on cassette tape and now I'm glad to have the CD. This is a good mellow sounding album which has several worthy selections. "Glory of Love" is my favorite, but it also includes "The Next Time I Fall" and "Only Love Knows Why", both of which are Peter Cetera's trademark sound. The album will not disappoint.
August 26, 2008It was fun reflecting back on the music I enjoyed when I was in high school. I really liked the Glory of Love, and had the single, as well as this album on cassette, but never got it on CD. It was hard to find! Glad Amazon is such a great source. I'll go here before iTunes, and brick and mortar stores from now on.
July 22, 2008 | | He did it all for the glory of love | |
While people might think leaving Chicago was not right. It was his choice, he made ladies swoon and did a lot of duets with female artists.
His most famous tune is "The Glory of Love" co-written with Peter Cetera for the second KARATE KID movie.

Just what was wrong with being the bass player for one of the greatest classic rock bands? Was it Cher? Dude, snap out of it! What would your mother say?
