"Rag Doll" places Frankie Valli in the spotlight as The Four Seasons harmonize both with and without Frankie. "Rag Doll" has that doo wop flavor that works so well for this ballad and it's a very good way to start the album. "Let's Hang On" features the group singing about how a man wants his girlfriend to stay with him instead of leaving him; and these men deliver this sensitive ballad with all the grace and style of the professionals that they always were! Moreover, listen for "Opus 17 (Don't You Worry 'Bout Me)." This strong ballad really impresses me with their harmonizing, strong vocals and that excellent orchestration.
"Can't Take My Eyes Off You" is truly a Frankie Valli number that still sounds as great today as it did all the way back when it was first released. The percussion adds to the melody very nicely and Frankie sings this without a superfluous note. "My Eyes Adored You" is another Frankie Valli number that still touches my heart all these years later; I always remember my one true love when I hear Frankie sing this song.
"Swearin' To God" has a positive upbeat melody with Frankie singing his heart out; and the funky `70s melody brings back memories of that style of music. "December, 1963 (Oh, What A Night)" also brings back good memories.
The album ends with Frankie Valli singing the theme song from the movie Grease. I love that `70s early disco/pop flavored melody and Frankie sings this to perfection.
Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons sure made beautiful music when they worked together; and I also like how this album includes a few of Frankie Valli's solo numbers, too. This is one superb album!

"Lets hang on" has great hook and is one of my favorites. I got the CD coz I'd heard "December 1963" in the past, liked it but didn't know who performed it. One of the better purchases I've made in 2006. November 7, 2006
