Good collection of German Mass Lieder arrangements.

This recording of Martin Luther's German Mass Lieder was done in the 1960's. Some the songs from the Mass are monophonic, some of the other hymns are in stereo. It is a good recording, crisp and clear, even the mono sections. A good supplement for any reformation music collection. October 19, 1999

A representative selection of Luther's music

This disc is a relatively definitive collection of Martin Luther's sacred music. It contains his Lutheran mass, plus many of his chant hymns, including "A Mighty Fortress." September 9, 1999
