I bought this CD as a gift for one of my piano students. I did not actually hear the recording, but found it to be an excellent collection of piano works. My goal is to expose my students to the master works, and to build their musical sense.
December 30, 2008O'Conor has all the tech skill and passion anyone could ask for. When he's on, he's up there with the best.
August 23, 2008This was my first encounter with the Irish pianist John O'Conor. As a pianist, these pieces were well-known to me, having taught many of them as well as played them. Mr. O'Conor is a pianist of the highest order. He has such a beautiful tone, such sensitivity in phrasing, such elegance throughout. If you get this lovely CD, you won't be disappointed.
