My Grandmother turned me on to Glenn Millers music a few years ago, when I was in my early 30's. I am now in my late 30's and I still love it. Glenn's music is timeless and still sounds so good. Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of taking my Grandmother to see the Glenn Miller Orchestra perform live and it was absolutely astounding. This cd really captures the magic of Glenn Miller at his best. I highly recommend this cd to everyone.

Glenn Miller's music is classic american. I bought this album in support of his heroism in World War II. Some of the music is dated and I wish it could be rerecorded to please modern listeners.
April 29, 2008These are the real deal. Not some phony remakes. The original ambiance of each song is captured. Sixty some years later using a different medium. Now that's good.

The CD is a fantastic compilation of Glenn Miller's most popular songs.
Though he was on the scene for only 4 years before tragically losing his life in 1942 his music is timeless. His big band style is easily recognizable & appreciated by those not yet born when Miller died.
The CD has the scratchy sound of recordings in that era. The scratchiness really only is heard at a high volume. At this price this is a CD you really shouldn't pass on

I was dissapointed when I played the CD. These were NOT the POPULAR hits from the past. Yes, originals but the greatest hits ALBUM (33 1/3 LP's)had THE best versions.
