Many of the reviewers of this CD speak of how mesmerizing it is. I agree wholeheartedly. The most hypnotic cut of all is "rez" at 9:55 minutes. I could probably listen to it all day long without getting bored with it. To me, Underworld music is the most amazing music in the world. I am an avid movie-goer too, and it is not uncommon to be sitting through a movie and suddenly hear "rez" being played as the mood-setting music for some scene in the movie. Underworld has made its mark, but deserves even better. Underworld should be up there with Elvis and the Beetles. December 8, 2007

I had ordered this CD off of Amazon not only because it was another CD-Single for my Underworld collection, but for the main purpose that his was an important song (Dirty Epic) and was extremely rare to find. This is a MUST OWN for all Underworld fans around the world. What I liked about the 'Dirty Epic' CD is that it was a journey that brought you in and out of reality. It places you in a trance and is great to imagine as you adventure through the different mixes (Dirty Guitar Mix, Dirty Mix, & the original Album Version). With each different interpretation of Dirty Epic, you begin to admire the song, not for respect of the song, but for the different motions each different mix has, eventually drifting back to the Album Version from Dubnobasswithmyheadman. Next, you are brought through the motions of Cowgirl, which also was taken off of Dubnobass. Cowgirl, in my opinion, was a more EASY dance tune to be listening or motioned through. It was eight minutes of pure bliss though as you then venture through the Irish Pub In Kyoto Mix and the end this segment of the Single with the Winjer Mix of Cowgirl (Different, but a different interpretaion of the song). The highlight of the entire Single though was the song: REZ. This was like listening to an ambient version of Cowgirl as you hear the familiar sounds and beats...I'm in a heaven everytime I sink in to imagination when Rez plays (Rez IS the best track on this Single). Finally, you end with River Of Bass, which was from Dubnobass and added on to give a nice, layed back ending. It would've been quite interesting if Underworld had made a CD-Single out of ROB and made some rare B-Side tracks, don't you think? If you can find this Single anywhere, purchase it, cause it's definitely out of print (I also would suggest the 'Dark & Long' CD-Single too. *Thumbs up!*). January 28, 2006

Dirty epic has been the first Underworld track I heard. It somehow opened the new genre somewhere between techno and vocal pop. Whole Dubnobass... is great, so is Second toughest... None of underworld stuff to date dissapponts, so u are in a pretty comfortable position to buy anything if by any chance only now you come across this fine music. July 10, 2003

paid lots of money on import for jus one track. Get this cd jus for REZ, believe me, worth every penny. Hard to find on UK releases. Old squidgy house at its finest.

The remixes for me are a bit lame. Original long player track is still the best. October 2, 2002

While the dirty guitar mix of dirty epic is a fine, fine track, you only need one reason to own this: REZ. March 12, 2001
