| Shenandoah and Ashokan Farewell |
The Ashokan Farewell instrumental, as is played; there is no better to be found. I am of the belief, that Ken Burn's "Civil War" will be forever linked to this music.
The rest of the music, in my opinion--is better played by the Americus Brass Band and Camp Chase Fife and Drum Corps. By using the authentic type drums; it makes a huge difference on the entire 'recipe' of the music piece/selection.
If you're not fussy and not hungry for period instruments only--then it would be a higher ranking. April 18, 2008
