As for the songs on the Remix cd, granted most are not as good as the originals, but they are still good Falco songs. I have come to enjoy these versions almost as much as the originals and to me they are just as much a part of my Falco collection. I would recommend this collection of songs to any real fan of Falco. To everyone else they should just buy the greatest hits of Falco or any group who is popular at the moment if all they want to listen to is the popular "radio" songs.
Not all Falco songs are classics or terrific, however, he is much more than just the song RMA. I believe if he had sung more in English he would have been more popular in America, but then he wouldn't have been the Falco that his real fans love. For those of us real Falco fans, part of what makes our love for his style and his music so wonderful is knowing that we are part of a small, select group who really know how great he was. Rest in peace Falco. You left your mark on this world. Wunderbar! May 16, 2008

I think you can be a Falco fan and have problems with this cd. To be the only cd that can be found in America...it's just a piss poor opportunity in certain ways. Perhaps Falco would be more famous here if more American fans had more cds to choose from. Falco had talent. I like just about every song he ever recorded. And that's pretty rare imo. I'm not sure why he couldn't make it big here in this country. I'm not sure if the language barrier was the problem or not. I would imagine not too many Americans would want to listen to something they didn't understand. It's a shame any way you look at it. Normally I'm against record companies pimping out the name/face of somebody that died/has been dead/etc. I'm against it. Still, I sorta wish some of Falco's cds and other merchandise could be found here. Go to Walmart and find a wide selection of his music catalog, etc. I wish the movie they'd made about Falco would play here. Ditto with any Falco books they've released over the years. I'll be the first to admit that Falco stuff probably wouldn't be too much in demand in 2008. I admit it. However, I think somebody could release a few copies over here so the American fans can enjoy his work and get to know more about him. Falco will never outsell Britney Spears or Hannah Montana or whatever. He'll never have that many fans over here in this country. I'm willing to bet he has a handful of loyal fans over here that would buy up these copies if they were made available here.
Anyway, I'm going off topic from my main review. Buy the remix cd if it's the only cd you can find. Save up for the good stuff and find the good stuff when you can/where you can. The prices on some of Falco's stuff over on Amazon's website is ridiculous. I know the cds are imports and all that but it's still ridiculous prices. eBay is very little help. I browse every now and again and I see a few copies of Falco 3 (German version) and Emotional floating around. Those are the two big ones you can find over there. Anyway, I'm being fair with this cd by giving it 2 stars. I got some enjoyment out of it when I first bought the cd years ago but I'm not crazy enough about it now to warrant giving it more than 2 stars. April 14, 2008
