Yes you guys are right about UK and US verison and I agree with you guys. One-on-One has the soft beat and Cher sang beautifully not the same as the US verison!!! US verison has the hard beat and it doesnt sound right I just cant explain but whatever that is this UK verison is worth to buy!!! I sold my US verison to my ex' family member and he loved it and he doesnt like the UK verison. He likes the heavy beat. Hey we all have our own taste of music right??? But I understand him that was why I sold it to him. UK is a MUST to buy instead of the US verison!!! February 16, 2007

Yes, you read it correctly. The season 5 episode titled "The Post-Modern Prometheus" has a character with a Cher fixation. Cher's music is played throughout the episode, including her wonderful version of "Walking in Memphis" and the Spector-ish, if I might, "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore." Older material is also used as well as a Cher-prise at the end. It's one of The X-Files most poignant episodes and well worth your time...especially if you are a Cher fan. October 25, 2005

I first bought the US version of 'It's a Man's World' and I must say I really liked it. Off the bat I felt that it was one of Cher's best albums, which I own almost all of. I just recently bought the UK version of 'It's a Man's World' and I must say I am amazed at how wonderful it is compared to the US version. It's more soulfull filled with beautiful music. This is probably Cher's best album. I espically love "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore" because the music is so amazing. This album really shows off what a wonderful voice Cher really has. This is a fabulous Cher album. She does not use much vocoder in the album therefore, it's one of her best. Her voice sounds so beautiful and so pure! It's got some great tracks that are the best of her career, such as the singles Walking In Memphis and One By One. Some of the best album tracks are The Shape Of Things To Come and Angels Running, but they are all great!

The album boasts of 14 tracks, whereas the US edition only has 11. The 3 tracks included on the fabulous UK version that are not on the US version are I Wouldn't Treat A Dog (The Way You Treated Me), Don't Come Around Tonite and The Shape Of Things To Come. Lots of tracks on the US version are remixed, such as One By One and Angels Running, and to be quite honest with you, none of them are better than the versions available on the UK Edition!

This is a really excellent Cher collection. It was rather under-rated, and should have made more of an appearance than it did. It's one of Cher's best, and like most Cher albums, one I will play over and over again! Buy the UK Edition, not the US one!
