This is "sophomore" cd after the smash Private Dancer.
This album explores the more rock n roll Tina.
The whole thing is great from Typical Male, to (seems like her theme song) I'll Be Thunder, to the mysterious Girls to the duet with Bryan Adams Back Where You Started.
I love every song on this album. I have always loved Tina and will continue doing so for years to come.
This is one of my finest cds in my collections. November 18, 2002

This CD by Tina follows up her success with PRIVATE DANCER.
She probably thought it best to stick to the soul/rock formula in 1986 too..and figures proved her right.
The album sold amazingly well, the tour wich supported it ended up sometime in 1988, somewhere in brazil, with the largest crowd ever assembled til then for a single performer.
Getting back to the album, she delivers great performances all through the CD.
Does not matter if you're on the dancefloor (TYPICAL MALE) - or even a countrybar dancefloor (WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET) -, if you are in the bedroom with the one you love (TWO PEOPLE, PARADISE IS HERE) or driving in the car (TIL THE RIGHT MAN COMES ALONG); not even if you have your headphone set on (AFTERGLOW): she will always gets thru.
Tina enlisted a little help from her friends again having David Bowie writing the splendid and glittering GIRLS, Bryan Adams bringin over the right rocker's touch to the guitar-driven BACK WHERE YOU STARTED and Mark Knopfler coming up with the honky-tonky-flavoured OVERNIGHT SENSATION.
This album is just about perfect for everyone...
pick your favourite environment and take a good listen to it! November 13, 2002

Break Every Rule is one of Tina's best albums, the album was realesed in 1986 after her "Private Dancer success".
Tina realesed this album with a hole new direction from her early works at that time, she gives her self as a rock and roll diva and as a love singer.
The album contains hit songs like:
1-TYPICAL MALE wich was the first cut of the album and was a big hit in the 80's, the song made it to #1 in 1986 and was nominated for a Grammy award.
2-WHAT YOU GET IS WHAT YOU SEE wich was the second single, talks about the women revolution also was hit and reached #14 in the Hot 100.
3-The third cut TWO PEOPLE describes a perfect sharing love relationship it made it to #23 in the US and #1 in Europe.
4-The #5 dance hit AFTERGLOW shows Tina in the need of love.
5-The very acclaimed rock song BACK WERE YOU STARTED brought Tina another Grammy award in the Best Femele Rock Vocal Perfomance category.
6-The song for her 3 year sold out Break Every Rule world tour was BREAK EVERY RULE only made it to #74 in the US but was a hot track during her shows.
7-OVERNIGHT SENSATION her autobiographical song was not a single but tells us in a funny way Tina's music career.
8-PARADISE IS HERE was covered in 1995 by Cher in her album "It's a man's world"
Break Every Rule sold million copies and is consider a classic wich contains 11 songs and has composition by Bryan Adams and the writers of Tina's smashing hit "What's love".
