not what I expected

I really enjoyed the music to the american version of the movie (I havn't had a chance to see the french version of the movie which I hear is better) and so I was eager to get the film score. Unfortunately I wound up buying this not realizing that the music was different (it is, I have learned, a common mistake). It is really not my taste and from those I have met who made the same mistake, it is not their's either. Luckily for me the store I bought it from took it back.
The funny thing was that at the time you couldn't get the french version of the film in America but it was the only version of the soundtrack you could buy. At least not the french version of the film is available in the US.

Best present

Got the soundtrack along with the dvd as one of the christmas presents for my girlfriend. She loved it & made me download it on her Ipod.

Have a listen - I have seen the movie several time as I own it on DVD - glad to have the soundtrack becasue it is beautifull... If you are water oriented get this CD.... July 29, 2007

The Big Blue

This is one of my favorite films, set in Europe and based on a true story. The camera work, music and plot are excellent. I highly recommend this film. The sound track is also worth buying! July 17, 2007
