There are many great singers in Australia, but Anthony Warlow is the singers singer. It's not often that you listen to a recording where every note if perfect, but somehow Anthony Warlow manages to hit the right note, with the right emotion every time. His art is that you actually believe every song.

This is more than having a great voice, and every voice has its limitations, compass, strength, timbre. What makes Anthony Warlow different is the way he can use it. Every singing student should get his CD's and listen to the technique. If you love the voice, don't miss this or any other Warlow album.

If Mr Warlow ever can, I hope he shares some of this talent in some master classes!

I was first introduced to Anthony Warlow in his powerful rendition of "This Is The Moment" from the "Jekyll and Hyde" original concept cast. Since then, I have been ensnared by his soaring baritone voice (which I have misconstrued for a tenor since he performs songs written for tenors). Centre Stage is a sumptuous collection of choice songs from beloved contemporary musicals such as Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables and Carousel. "Music of the Night" is a more riveting performance than the original, although I'm a huge fan of Michael Crawford (the original Phantom). "Bring Him Home" is a classic poignant song which he interprets with as much ardor as the original Valjean in Les Miserables. "The Impossible Dream" and "Anthem" are two fortissimo songs he belts out with thrilling abandon. There are 13 tracks to this album and every single one of them is notably exceptional. This CD may be a bit pricey but it's worth every penny. Anthony Warlow has a unique gift of evoking emotions to every note of his song and a vocal range that is in the league of Barbara Streisand and Colm Wilkinson. August 19, 2007

Anthony Warlow is one of the most talented male singers in the world today. The passion and feeling he lends to everything he sings make each of his songs a masterpiece. THIS MAN IS THE EPITOME OF TALENT! April 28, 2005

There isn't a single Male Vocalist out there as AMAZING and BREATHTAKING as Mr. Anthony Warlow! This album shows the wide range of the tones, and characters his voice can stretch to. His operatic quality while singing "Music of the Night" blows all other recorded Phantoms out of the water! "Somewhere" is so beautiful, and the girl singing with him is wonderful and they compliment each other perfectly. "You're Nothing Without Me" will make you laugh, and his is just perfectly suited to sing it. All the other tracks are equally perfect and will capture your heart. I am definitely going to buy all his other albums after this one! I strongly recommend the Concept Cast album of "Jekyll and Hyde" with him on it. You haven't heard perfection till you hear Anthony Warlow sing "I Need to Know". February 20, 2005

Regardless of the arrangement or instrumentation of the songs, the interpretation of Anthony Warlow delivers. I first heard his voice in a complication CD, the best of Act I. This is my second CD of his. I like best his simple, yet elegant, interpretaton of Johanna, I Am What I Am, and the Colors of my life. His voice is very refreshing. I really do not tire of listening to this CD again and again. His background is theater but his interpretation is not over-dramatic. July 15, 2004
