For any Steve Stevens fan, this album is a must. This album will definitely rock the boots of any rock guitar player. Songs like "Sister of Pain", "The Edge" are the usual Vince fare backed up by some stellar guitar playing and tight backing by the band. Definitely a good buy. June 23, 2008

Awesome!!!

Solid debut as a solo act for Vince Neil. Im guessing when the misguided Crue heard Neils solo meterial is why they got him backin the band. Neil's solo stuff picks up right where the crue left off, Motley Crue's self titled album after they fired Vince was definatly not up to par. Thank god's Neil is back in the Crue now and they are rockin better than ever! April 28, 2008

5 Star's for Vince Neil

Ok the former Motley Crue band member is not the crue. This wonderful audio cd is filled with true ballets of Vince. Vince has always had his own style. The syle of some of the former Motley Crue band hits can be dirrectly traced back to Vince Neil.(((( Doctor Feel Good )))) for example.
Released in 1993 by vince neil. This cd has been out of print since 1999. They sold over 3 million copie retail world wide. Hit song Look in her eyes went to number one in london on the billboard charts. Fine Fine Wine was ranked # 5 on the billboard chart's in spain and in london as high as number #23.
Dont think for a second that this cd will be the "Classic" 80's Motley Crue sound. It is an advanced sound or a rebirth of the sound.
So in closing if you liked the sound and style of motley crue you shoul pick up a copy of this cd today.

Debut good time solo slab - 3.5 stars

As I write this it seems a long time ago that Motley Crue and Vince Neil fell out. Well it was , but ... oh lets forget the history lesson - what's on the disc?

Ultimately a lighter version of the Crue, some of the darker underbelly being filtered out in the never ending search for the next implant recipient. But that's not to say the record doesn't work. A range of melodies in the vocal lines really lifts this party album and the surrounding band is tight. Acrimony ended up tearing the band apart later but her all is rosy. The guitar playing of Steve Stevens is as distinctive as usual and th guys axe bleeds all over tracks like, well most of them actually. Perhaps the most typical tracks here for prospective buyers to try to hear are :- Sister of Pain, Living is a Luxury, Gettin' Hard and the lead cut Look in her Eyes, last mentioned having a particularly 'Steve Stevens' guitar feel.

Motley fans NEED this while generic hard rock fans could do a lot worse. But don't pay too much for it. August 21, 2006
