but not in music. Sorry Hulk but this is lame beyond words except for the WCW Hulk Hogan theme which is the one star in my review. December 3, 2008

This cd does not even deserve any stars. Pure Garbage. Hulk Hogan was washed up when this came out, and 13 years later he is still doing anything to keep himself in the limelight. I'd rather hear a toilet flush than this stuff. Do us a favor Hogan, just fade away. December 1, 2008

I finally got my hands on this, I've only been looking since about 1995 when it first came out. This came out about the time Hogan signed with WCW, it features his original WCW Theme music on track 2 (American Made) which I think is a pretty cool song. Even tho I'm not American, I still enjoy hearing this song now and then, Real American (Original WWF Theme) has been done to death and it would be cool to hear Hogan use this theme again some day.

As for the rest of this album. It's a mix between Hogan singing, Jimmy Hart and his wife I think.

1. Hulkster's in the House: Kind of cool, and kind of lame. It's a modern sounding rock song with mostly back up singers belting out the words together in a song that starts off ok then kind of gets lame 80's style. But overall one of the better songs of this album.

2. American Made - (WCW theme)

3. Hulkster's Back - Hogan's rap song on this album is kind of funny, lame and amusing. with lyrics like, "check out the 24 inch pythons, baby" "whats up dude, check out the pumps" you just can't help but laugh. It could probably work as an entrance theme for him tho.

4. Wrestling Boot Traveling Band - Jimmy Hart sings a kind of light melodied tune that sounds ok until the chorus, but again, kind of amusing.

5. Bad to the Bone - Jimmy Hart again singing, it's sounds like a late 80's heavy metal song. Reminds me of something on Alice Coopers Constrictor or Raise Your Fist albums.

6. I Want To Be A Hulkamaniac - this song sounds kinda lame, but for some reason it get's stuck in your head. It is catchy.

7. Beach Patrol - this one is just lame, they are the beach patrol prowling for girls and getting into fights over it or something. Must've been something he thought of when doing Thunder In Paradise.

8. Hulk's The One - I think this is the one his wife sings. a 80's pop sound that i tend to skip all the time.

9. Hulkster in Heaven - The world just lost another hulkamaniac and they will tag up again when hulk goes to heaven... i think this tries to be too touchy feely in lyrics, but i just laugh my 24 inch tonsils out.

10. Hulk Rules - all i can say is this song rules nothing. another 80's pop sound, ok, but ya wouldn't crank it up so anyone could hear it. More a guilty pleasure kind of song, much like the whole album!

The album is for the die hard fans who can't get enough Hulkster, but it is also for those who want a laugh about him singing an entire album about himself. April 29, 2007

Alright, this might be the worst album in the history of music. I mean, it is really, really bad. Yet, as bad as it, I can say honestly that I've probably listened to this album at least 100 times, probably more. Heck, there are times when "I Wanna Be a Hulkamaniac" or "Beach Patrol" pop into my head when I'm sitting at my desk. I've had this cd for 7 or 8 years now, and I still play it on the way to work sometimes. My girlfriend gets super pissed when I toss her U2 cds on the floor of my car, and put this album on. She gets even more pissed when I lip-synch "Hulk's the One" or "Hulkster in Heaven." I know 3 or 4 other people who also bought this album (all at K-Mart, nonetheless), and (like myself) they know every word to every song of this incredibly awful album. This is the ultimate guilty pleasure. April 26, 2007

Let's face it. Hulk Hogan has created this generation's Dark Side of the Moon! This amazing album takes you on a roller coaster ride both musically and emotionally. But, just like most great albums, it leaves you wanting more. Here we are ten years later and we still haven't recevied the Hulkster's sophomore effort. He needs to give up wrestling and all that reality show junk and focus on what he is really great at: playing the bass and delivering razor-sharp rap verses. Long live the Hulk! May 22, 2006
