This 2 volume double disc set was released in 1998, and as a hip-hop fan who has a negative history with double disc releases, I gotta say this has honestly very little blemishes on it. The reason I don't typically like double disc albums is because they tend to have alot of filler in them. But that's not the case with this one, it's just straight up crack.

After ICP released a bundle of albums, it's quite obvious that they would have some unused material. So they decided to bring to life the "Forgotten Freshness" series, which is one of the best moves they've ever made. Most of the tracks here are dope, and a couple are below-average, and it makes me thankful that they didn't put them on any of their official releases. But not everything here is take-out tracks; here you get songs from 2 Dope's solo EP "Fxck Off!", Hallowicked tracks, remixes as well as some new material.

This compilation has something for just about any Juggalo. It has gangsta rap (Clown Love), storytelling rap (Halloween On Military Street), horrorcore rap (Graveyard) and some old skool hip-hop from their Inner City Posse era (Dog Beats).
I can't decide which disc I prefer, they both are equally on par. And this is a must-have for any horrorcore rap fan.

Here's my track-by-track ratings.

DISC 1

01. "Hey Vato" (B-)
02. "Dead Pumpkins" (A)
03. "Fat Sweaty Betty" (A)
04. "Willy Bubba" (D) (least favorite)
05. "Graveyard (ft. Project Born)" (A+) (favorite)
06. "F**k Off!" (A+)
07. "I Didn't Mean To Kill 'Em" (B)
08. "Southwest Strangla" (A+)
09. "Santa's A Fat B**ch" (B+)
10. "Witching Hour (ft. Myzery)" (B)

DISC 2

01. "Mr. Johnson's Head Remix" (B)
02. "Clown Love" (A+)
03. "Hokus Pokus Headhunta'z Remix" (A-)
04. "Red Christmas" (B+)
05. "House Of Wonders" (A)
06. "Mr. Rotten Treats" (B+)
07. "Piggy Pie (Old School)" (A)
08. "I'm Not Alone" (A-)
09. "85 Bucks An Hour (ft. Twiztid)" (A)
10. "Halloween On Military Street" (C+)
11. "Dog Beats (ft. John Kichass)" (A+)
12. "Mental Warp" (B+)

There ya have it. I recommend this classic double disc album to all Juggalos and horrorcore rap fans. Worth every penny. I hope you enjoyed my review. Peace.

My son, Christopher Colt Kelley, was murdered on December 21, 2001. He was 15 years old and he was a real Juggalo. He used to try and get me to play ICP cd's all the time whenever we were riding in the car together and I wouldn't listen to them. When he was murdered I took the time to sit and listen to what he was in to. I haven't stopped listening to ICP yet. I met Violent J once before Shangri-La came out and I told him all about my son. He held my hand and told me in these words that I will never forget, "You should not be sad that he is gone, you should always look at it like this, whenever it rains, that's him Raining Diamonds down on you." Then Shangri-La dropped and I heard It Rains Diamonds...and I could not stop crying. Now I am a 37 year old Juggalette and I'll be that way 'til I'm dead in the ground. My son was buried with an ICP shirt on and a Hatchetman round his neck. And I plan on going the same way. Everyone has their own thoughts about ICP and the Dark Carnival...but if you're not a true Juggalo....you'll never get it. MCL and R.I.P. Colt....we miss you. January 16, 2005
