About Jerry Seinfeld - I'm Telling You for the Last Time
On Jerry Seinfeld's debut CD, he already sounds sick of his material. Of course, the point of the performance that it captures--the HBO special I'm Telling You for the Last Time--was to perform the routine one last time and then retire it forever. This recording was taped just a couple of months after Seinfeld went off the air, and the crowd sounds like it's jonesing for a fix--they laugh at everything, even Seinfeld's setup lines ("So what's with the cabdrivers and the BO?"). Still, Seinfeld's humor--that now-familiar observation from a satisfyingly elitist point of view--delivers. But after all the late-night talk-show appearances, the book Seinlanguage, and nine years of the series, was there really any question? --Randy Silver Amazon.com

You don't need to be a fan of the show to really enjoy this album. I had seen Jerry Seinfeld on some late night shows and thought he was pretty funny, but this album, like another reviewer said, is just filled to the brim with non-stop laughs.
I loved so many of the tracks. Oh my gosh, during the one when he was talking about when he went to go horse-riding, I was honsetly in tears laughing so hard, and so was everyone around me. It's a great CD to play for your friends and family, they will think it's hilarious.
In an age where comdians feel like they need to be vulgar to be funny, it's just so refreshing to hear someone like Jerry Seinfeld bring down the house with something as simple as talking about chopsticks, or McDonald's, or Halloween. May 22, 2007
