This EP is an excellent slice of Dance Hall Crashers ska/pop/punk. The opening track 'She's Trying' has a catchy hook that complements the sweet vocal harmonies of Karina and Elyse. The story is sweet too. 'Lady Luck' follows and it's a fast mover with a twist of retro. 'All Mine' is a nice love song that focuses on vocals(and they are very good indeed.) 'Truly Comfortable' and the acoustic 'Shelly'(this song may get on some nerves due to the way the vocals are mixed). 'I Did It For the Toys'ends the audio part of the CD on a punky perverse note. There are four videos for different songs along with pictures of the band. Get this CD for it is a good amount of music for the money. September 23, 2000

This whole CD is great...as worthy as anything DHC has ever done. The last song "I Did It For The Toys" is a neo-Christmas carol for the 90s...in its sick, perverse, and hilariously twisted way. The remix of "All Mine" and the Acoustic Version of "Shelley" add new dimensions to familiar songs. And all I can say about "She's Trying" is...sheer perfection! October 9, 1998

As a DHC fan, I may have a biased opinion, but there is little doubt in my mind that if you don't own anything by DHC, you are missing out. A blend of ska/pop/punk, DHC's music, lyrics and tight harmonies by the female lead singers will simply blow you away! A must have for anybody who likes good, fun music. The four videos and candid photos of the group are an added bonus for fans of the group. September 16, 1998
