This is a classic Saturday night party album from a timeless comedy based on life at a staid, ivy covered college campus.

From the Faber College Theme by Elmer Bernstein to Bluto's (John Belushi) frat-house vocals on Louie, Louie and Money (That's What I Want) to the music from artists like Sam Cooke, Bobby Lewis , The Isley Brothers and Paul & Paula, the collection captures the energy and hi-jinks in the script or created by the actors due to their keen comedic intuition.

I love the movie Animal House. I was looking for the soundtrack for a long time, and I was ecstatic when I found it on Amazon.com. I love listening to this soundtrack on my commute to and from school (NIU). It reminds me of humorous moments in the movie. October 25, 2007
