love this album when i first got it, you get 2 disc with tracks like Thug luv, if i could teach the world, friends, look into my eyes, also i love the intro Retaliation, that track is amazing for a intro for album, probably the best intro i ever heard on a album.

June 2, 2008 | | Awesome album, has the best bone song ever.
This is the 3rd best bone album (e 99 eternal, strength) but if they could have made this into one album, it would easily be up there with e 99. The standouts are "handle the vibe" "look into my eyes" "body rot" "mind of a souljah" "if i could teach the world" and get ready for the greatest bone song ever, we all know it......"THUG LUV!!!!" a great beat with gun blasts mixed in to the beat with bone and pac spittin inbetween, it doesnt get any better than this. overall a great bone album, for anyone looking to get into bone and true fans will love this
April 6, 2008I had this album for a while now but I can't help but to keep bumpin' this CD, this is one of their best work. They definitely kept their style andn stuff, Bone Thugs forever
March 11, 2008 | | Get ready for War (4.5 stars)
The album was aptly-titled because at this time BTNH's beef with Do Or Die, Twista and Crucial Conflict reached a fever pitch and Bone retaliated with this album. If you didnt know that the first single Look Into My Eyes was aimed at their rivals then you are truly slow. The lyrical onslaught continues on Body Rott, Ready 4 War and U Aint Bone. Handle The Vibe nicely samples BDP's Love's Gonna Get Cha as Bone gives it to you raw. Aint Nothin Changed is the dope sequel to Everyday Thang off of The Show Soundtrack. If I Could Teach The World was a great second single for this album. Layzie and Krayzie shine respectively on their solo joints Its All Real(Krayzie) and Mind Of A Souljah(Layzie). Only two songs I'd skip on the first disc. Clog Up Your Mind and the Hard Times interlude are boring. Other than that, the first disc is great. Disc 2: 2pac(RIP)shows up on one of the hardest collabos of 1997 in Thug Luv. Majesty joins Bizzy Bone On 7th Sign. Let The Law End, Whom Die They Lie, How Many Of Us Have Them are vintage Bone tracks. I love Evil Paradise for its funkiness. There are two songs I couldnt feel on Disc 2. Wasteland Warrior is ehhh and Wish Bone's solo joint, Get Your Thug On is wack. Bottom Line: The Art Of War stands out as Bone's best work to date and is one of 1997's top rap releases. Bone was on a roll since they first came out so this album solidifies that they were here to stay in the rap game. I'd definitely recommend this one. Standouts on WW1: HANDLE THE VIBE, LOOK INTO MY EYES, BODY ROTT, READY 4 WAR, AINT NOTHIN CHANGED, ITS ALL REAL and IF I COULD TEACH THE WORLD. Standouts on WWII: THUG LUV, U AINT BONE, ALL ORIGINAL, LET THE LAW END, WHOM DIE THEY LIE, HOW MANY OF US HAVE THEM and EVIL PARADISE.
